Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : analyse spatiale Système d'information géographique Résumé : As part of the framework for the Archaedyn project, this work aims to understand spatial discontinuities in ancient land use through the analysis of ancient agrarian structures preserved by forest cover in Lorraine and Burgundy, northeast France. The first step consisted of examining the intensity of landuse (the density of linear features, stone piles, and the mean length of features) and its structuring (degree of closure, shape and surface area of field parcels) indicators. The second step consists of spatially analysing these parameters in order to identify homogeneous zones. These zones will then be compared to environmental and human factors in an attempt to understand how these field systems were established. Titre : THE TIME-SPACE DYNAMICS OF AGRICULTURAL AREAS FROM ANTIQUITY TOMODERN TIMES : Colloque ArchaeDyn "7 millenia of territorial dynamics : settlement pattern, production and trades, from Neolithic to Middle Ages" Type de document : autre doc numérique Auteurs : Poirier N. ; Georges-Leroy M. ; Tolle F. ; Fovet E. Année de publication : 2008 Importance : 15 p. Langues : Anglais (eng) Résumé : This paper presents the analytical procedure developed within the Workgroup 1 of the Archaedyn project. It
aims at studying the time-space dynamics of agrarian activities readable by the ancient field systems preserved by the
forest cover, and off-site material interpreted as remains of manuring practices. Using GIS and spatial statistic tools, we
studied the structuring, intensity, durability and mobility of agrarian activities at different time scales.Laboratoire : ThéMA Equipe : Paysage & Cadre de vie Type : Com sans acte Publication de Théma : Oui THE TIME-SPACE DYNAMICS OF AGRICULTURAL AREAS FROM ANTIQUITY TOMODERN TIMES : Colloque ArchaeDyn "7 millenia of territorial dynamics : settlement pattern, production and trades, from Neolithic to Middle Ages" [autre doc numérique] / Poirier N. ; Georges-Leroy M. ; Tolle F. ; Fovet E. . - 2008 . - 15 p.
